Security Hardening

Server or other infrastructure hardening considers the technical configuration of servers (and supporting applications such as databases) and other infrastructure devices such as firewalls, routers, wireless access points.  Often, the deployment timeframe of servers and other infrastructure is driven by the business (time to market), although it is important that the business understands that hardening these systems ensures the security of the device itself, so that the availability and data confidentiality and integrity of the systems are secure.

eSecure have extensive experience in defining and building hardened server and other infrastructure baseline standards.  Our standards are formulated using leading industry standards such as NSA, CIS, NIST & SANS which are continually updated to guarantee current security baselines.

In addition to developing secure, baseline configuration standards, we can undertake security reviews of existing device configurations (and assist in hardening your existing infrastructure) or alternatively undertake a security review of your existing baseline configuration standards to ensure they are aligned with best practices.
